At The Mindful Zen, we believe in the transformative power of mindfulness and compassion. Our mission is to guide individuals on a path to finding inner peace and balance in the present moment.
Since discovering mindfulness in 2019, Charmaine’s passion for the wellbeing of others has inspired her to study at the University of the West of Scotland, whereby she has achieved a Master's in Mindfulness and Compassion. Her qualification enables her to teach the Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) and Compassion Based Living Course (CBLC) to adults.
As a qualified primary school teacher for 13 years, Charmaine is highly experienced in teaching as well as mentoring and coaching teachers. As a result, she has been able to transfer her teaching skills to become an excellent mindfulness teacher.
Charmaine is registered on the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA) website and the Mindfulness Association’s Teacher Directory. This is in recognition of her meeting the Good Practice Guidelines (GPG’s) for Mindfulness Teachers, which requires her to:
